Job Description:

  • $30/hour | Flexible Weekday Shifts | W-2 Position

    Jovie is currently hiring warm, responsible, and engaging part-time babysitters to support families throughout Redmond, Bellevue, and Kirkland.

    This position is ideal for caregivers looking for 4-hour shifts, typically Monday through Friday, with the flexibility to set your own schedule or pick up open jobs that fit your availability.

    Job Details

    - Position: Part-Time Babysitter

    - Location: Redmond, Bellevue, Kirkland (and surrounding areas)

    - Pay: $30 per hour

    - Schedule: 4-hour shifts, usually weekdays (Mon–Fri)

    - Employment Type: W-2 employee (not contract work)

    Responsibilities:

    As a Jovie babysitter, you will:

    - Provide safe, attentive, and nurturing care for children

    - Engage kids in fun, age-appropriate activities and play

    - Assist with routines such as meals, naps, schoolwork, or bedtime prep

    - Communicate professionally with parents and Jovie staff

    - Ensure a positive and supportive environment for every family



    Requirements:

    To be considered, candidates must meet the following:

    - High School Diploma or GED required

    - Must have a reliable vehicle to travel to family assignments

    - Ability to lift up to 35 pounds

    - Ability to get up and down from a sitting position on the floor easily and repeatedly

    - Dependable, responsible, and professional in a variety of home settings

    Compensation:
    $20-23 per hour

    Join Jovie as an on-call babysitter for Next Day or Short-Term assignments! This flexible role is perfect for anyone who loves caring for children but needs their work schedule to fit around classes, another job, or life’s unpredictability. You’ll get consistent work. You pick your assignments and stay as busy as you want.
    You’ll provide in-home childcare for families who need backup care, typically for the next day or next few upcoming days. A bit like a substitute teacher, you’ll be notified, via an app, of last-minute care opportunities for the upcoming few days. You self-select the jobs you want! If you’re dependable, fun, and ready to make a difference, this is the job for you!

    About You:

    • • You genuinely love kids and enjoy play, arts & crafts, and creative activities.
    • • You have at least 1 year of hands-on childcare experience (as a babysitter, nanny, camp counselor, daycare worker, or teacher’s aide).
    • • You’re reliable, communicative, and professional so families can count on you to show up ready to help.
    • • You have a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
    • • You’re available on average, 3 days per week, with flexibility to accept 4 – 8 hour assignments on short notice, typically weekdays between 7am–7pm.
    • • You can provide 3 references, including at least 2 related to childcare.
    • • You’re 18 years or older and able to lift up to 35 lbs.
